The 10MW Warrior Run battery array was built alongside AES’s existing 205MW Warrior Run cogeneration plant in the US state of Maryland. It is the largest grid-scale battery in the state, and will provide frequency regulation services to grid operator PJM Interconnection, helping it to integrate more renewable generation sources like wind and solar.
