AEP Ohio may buy output of 50MW Turning Point Solar

The largest solar energy project east of the Rocky Mountains is taking shape on the site of a former coal mine. Utility AEP Ohio intends to negotiate a power purchase agreement with Turning Point Solar for the proposed 49.9MW plant in southeastern Ohio.
