RWE is "leading" a $45m equity funding round into Hamburg-based Conergy, with existing Conergy investors also contributing to the round. Exact financial details were not disclosed.
Kawa Capital Management, the Miami-based asset management firm, will remain Conergy’s largest shareholder after the latest funding round. Kawa acquired the Conergy brand and many of its key non-manufacturing assets after Conergy slid into insolvency in 2013.
