REC Solar, which is majority owned by Duke Energy, the largest US electric utility by market capitalization, did not release financial terms of the transaction.
The deal brings REC Solar’s portfolio to more than 200MW installed or under construction. It also adds 28MW of operation and maintenance contracts, boosting its services portfolio to above 200MW as well.
