GCL and Adani have forged a strategic partnership agreement over “large-scale co-operation” in India’s clean energy sector.
GCL and Adani’s plans include a “complete photovoltaic industry chain in Mundra, Gujarat”, according to reports in India.
GCL includes GCL-Poly, the world’s largest supplier of polysilicon and wafers, and GCL New Energy, which aims to develop 7.5GW of solar capacity in China.
GCL is the latest big overseas player to be linked with Adani over co-operation in India.
