The German company now expects to see sales of €925m-€975m ($993m-$1.04bn) this year, up from a previous range of €850m-€900m
SMA now sees an operating profit of up to €30m, after previously guiding for no more than €10m.
This marks the third time SMA has raised its targets this year as it bounces back strongly from a downturn at the back end of 2014 due to plunging demand in the domestic German market.
