Late last year Solar Frontier reported a 20MW module order from Cypress Creek, which calls itself a leading builder of “local” solar farms – or small- and medium-sized ground-mounted solar arrays within communities that may not be accustomed to solar development.
But the 150MW order reflects the “bellwether relationship” that has formed between the two companies, says Charles Pimentel, chief operating officer of Solar Frontier Americas.
