Financial terms of the transaction were not made public.
Silicon Ranch plans to begin to take delivery of the initial modules in the first quarter of 2017 and will continue to supply its projects until the first quarter of 2018. It did not say where those projects will be located.
Some of the 2017 projects may also employ First Solar’s balance of system solutions, including the company’s single-axis tracker.
