The global PV module number-one will restructure the SBU into one unit concentrating on domestic Chinese development and EPC, with a separate International SBU focused on foreign projects.
Trina said former SBU head Lin has resigned, without giving further details, as it named his former deputy Jiqing Gao as head of the China SBU.
A statement from Trina does not mention who will lead the new International SBU, but says the split “is designed to reflect the company's strategy and ambitions to become a first-tier global player in the downstream business”.
