The US company named Bruce Yung as managing director and vice president for business development for China, replacing former chief representative Kevin Berkemeyer.
Yung was previously managing director of China Renewable Energy Investment, a Hong Kong-listed company investing in wind power, and has also worked in the China offices of BP and Entergy.
He takes over First Solar’s China operations as the company struggles to increase its presence in what is expected to soon be the world’s largest solar market.
