The unanimous vote of the three-member Kittitas County Board of Commissioners holds the developer to set of conditions governing construction and operation of the project in the Cascade Mountains about 90 miles east of Seattle.
“It’s basically another step moving the project forward,” Commissioner Paul Jewell tells Recharge.
Teanaway still must provide additional plans for issues such as site restoration and decommissioning plans, before it could begin construction.
