3TIER offers an irradiance dataset based on half-hourly satellite observations going back more than a decade, the company says. This data can be fine tuned using observational data from a particular site.
“3TIER can use that data to correct biases in our solar irradiance dataset to help developers understand, with greater accuracy, the long-term variability of their solar resource,” states chief executive Kenneth Westrick.
