The projects will include SolarReserve’s energy storage technology that employs molten salt and enables dispatching of electricity without the need for backup fossil fuels. The power will be fed into new ultra-high voltage transmission lines being constructed to bring renewable power from the north and west regions of China to load centers in the east.
