Rechargerevealed in April that the Chinese panel maker's plant in São Paulo state was under construction.
The R$80m ($23.7m) facility, which will be financed by Brazil's national development bank, BNDES, is being developed in partnership with US industrial services group Flex.
It is expected to be fully operational by September, supplying about 400MW of Canadian Solar's projects in Brazil that were contracted in the 2014 and 2015 tenders and have to be ready by mid-2017.
