It's the latest move in an escalating intellectual property row between Zep and Westinghouse over mounting systems that integrate directly with PV modules. Both companies allege that the other's products infringe their patents.
Earlier this year, Westinghouse filed a trade complaint for breach of patents against Zep and Canadian Solar with the US International Trade Commission. The case is in its discovery phase with an evidentiary hearing scheduled for autumn 2012.
