Wales unveils $54m green-energy research programme

Wales, often seen as a laggard within the UK’s renewables industry, has launched a £34m ($54.2m) initiative that will yoke six Welsh universities together to research various low-carbon and renewable-energy technologies and bring them to commercialisation.
