Arco has more than 20 megawatts of permitted projects worth approximately $114m in potential revenue and is a profitable company, Premier Power says.
Premier Power adds that it anticipates the Italian projects to begin generating substantial revenue growth in the second half of this year, and improve its operating margins.
With an aggressive feed-in tariff programme and ideal solar power conditions, Italy’s solar market is expected to grow to 3 gigawatts by 2016, up from 325MWin 2008.
