First mooted late last year, the deal will see Terra Firma buy the firm – Italy’s largest PV developer, with 144MW of installed capacity – using a mixture of debt and equity.
Terra Firm chairman Guy Hands calls the company a “high-quality, early stage renewable-energy business in one of Europe’s most important market”.
“[It] is the largest PV generator in Italy and we believe it has the potential to become one of the largest in Europe,” he says.
