Net income per American Depository Share (ADS) was $2.02, more than eight times the $0.24 recorded in the fourth quarter of 2009.
Revenue in the quarter was $945.1m, well ahead of the analyst consensus, and up 62% from the year earlier period on an 87% increase in shipments. But the company’s consolidated gross profit margin was 16.2% down from 23.8% a year prior.
