The Arizona-based company reports a 104% year-on-year surge in fourth quarter revenue to $26.8m – some 63% of which comes from solar technology. Operating profits were $2.2m in the fourth quarter.
But Amtech warns that it expects revenue to fall by 37%-44% in the first quarter of 2009, from fourth quarter levels, due to lower volumes and postponements to some orders.
