The 10 megawatt (MW) Leki Dukielskie project is located in the south-east of Poland and comprises five REpower MM92 turbines. It is the first wind farm project undertaken in the country by Germany’s third-largest wind turbine manufacturer.
Leki Dukielskie will supply power for around 5,000 households (or 20,000 people) with immediate effect.
Bukowsko, the second wind farm planned by the subsidiary of the Portuguese Martifer Group and REpower, will comprise eight of the same model turbines giving it a capacity of 16MW.
