The Renewable Energy Association (REA) has presented the plans to the UK’s Energy Minister Mike O'Brien.
Specific features of the blueprint include:
* Tariffs will cover renewable heat and renewable gas, in addition to renewable power up to 5 megawatts (MW)
* Owners will be paid for all the renewable energy they produce whether they export it to the grid or use it on-site
* Payment will vary by technology so that all renewable resources can make a contribution
