Q-Cells to shutter more German production after massive Q2 loss

Q-Cells sent investors rushing for the exits after revealing a massive €355m ($510m) loss in the second quarter, saying it will halve cell output at its German headquarters and shift more production to Malaysia.

Q-Cell's Malaysian factory (pictured) will run at full capacity in late 2011, while German production will decline sharply.
