The Chinese PV wafer and module maker priced 12m American Depositary Shares at $12.40, which is roughly where they were trading as the week on Wall Street came to a close. LDK’s shares hit a high for the year earlier this week, closing on Monday at $14.44.
Earlier this year, the company brightened its outlook for the last quarter of 2010 and all of 2011, citing strong demand from emerging markets to take up the slack of slowing European giants.
