But the Florida-based company says after completing about 1.3GW of new US wind capacity this year, its plans include no US wind projects after 2012 in the absence of the federal production tax credit (PTC).
"Our expectations assume only the projects that we already have in our backlog," says chief financial officer Moray Dewhurst. "While we continue to be optimistic that federal policy support for renewable development will be maintained beyond the expiration of the production tax credit at the end of the year, we are not counting on that.
