The first project, Amherstburg II, was acquired by First Solar from Helios Energy. First Solar, the leading thin-film PV manufacturer and a leading utility-scale solar project developer, will continue to develop the 15MW project, which consists of two separate facilities using a combined 244,000 panels, and will build, operate and maintain it.
