In 2010, EDPR added 1.101GW of capacity worldwide, of which 501MW was in Europe and 600MW in the US, bringing its global installed capacity to 6.676GW. However its capital spending was down by 24% compared to 2009 at €1.4bn ($1.93bn), as the company slows down the pace of wind farm construction.
EDPR added 1.175GW of new capacity in 2009 plans to add 800-900MW of capacity in 2011.
