Polat Enerji has 50 Mw of total capacity in service in two wind farms and an 80 Mw facility under construction. It also has four projects at advanced stages in development, representing capacity in excess of 200 Mw. All its assets are 50% owned in partnership with another Turkish company.
EDF Energies Nouvelles, a 50 %-owned subsidiary of the EDF Group, says the acquisition is in line with its strategy of teaming up with experienced local partners.
