In accordance with rival analysts MAKE and IHS-EER, which had already released their rankings, BTM put Chinese wind turbine supplier Goldwind in second place.
Goldwind was followed by GE, Gamesa, Enercon, Suzlon, Sinovel, United Power, Siemens Wind, and Mingyang, according to BTM’s International Wind Energy Development: World Update 2011.
BTM says the most significant change in the turbine supply market was the continued strong growth of Chinese OEMs, with four Chinese companies holding strong positions among the top ten.
