Australia renewables funding to be 'out of government hands'

Australia’s energy minister Martin Ferguson has outlined plans to take renewable energy funding decisions out of government hands, a move which would also deflect rising pressure on politicians from “grassroots environmental groups” and “energy autodidacts”.
