Global clean energy investment was $145bn last year, down 6.5% from $155bn in 2008 and down 2% from $148bn in 2007, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance.
The Asia-Oceania region attracted $37.3bn, more than the Americas, but still $4.9bn less than Europe, Middle East and Africa, and was the only region of the three to see its investment total increase, up 25% year-over-year.
