Offshore 'essential' to Energiewende

Offshore wind energy is "absolutely essential" for the success of Germany’s Energiewende and will push down overall costs for the transition from nuclear to renewables by billions of euros each year, a new study presented at EWEA Offshore in Frankfurt claims.
