After a namingceremony at a wharf in Munkebo harbour, Denmark, held yesterday, the 161-metre-longPacific Osprey will set sail next week.
After a brief first assignmentin the gas sector, from July onwards the WIV is scheduled to start service on theinstallation of 80 Siemens 3.6MW turbines at the 288MW Dan Tysk wind farm inthe German North Sea.
The work will be for aconsortium of Swedish power group Vattenfall andGerman municipal utility Stadtwerke München (SWM).
