€6bn of German wind 'waiting to go'

Five wind farms off Germany’s North Sea coasts with a combined capacity of 1.6GW are on the brink of a final investment decision – but their developers need the country’s next government to act swiftly in favour of the sector before they seal the deal, a high-ranking German offshore wind industry official told Recharge today.
