Tepco will reportedly receive about 20bn yen ($263m) for the shares, which it is selling to Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC), its existing joint-venture partner in Eurus.

The deal will leave TTC as the biggest stakeholder in Eurus with 60% of the shares.

Eurus is Japan’s largest wind developer, with more than 2GW of capacity that spans Europe, the US and Korea, as well as its home market.
