North Sea wind power pioneer Stephen Bull will leave Equinor to head the renewables unit of Norwegian offshore energy contractor Aker Solutions.
Bull, currently Equinor’s senior vice president for the North Sea region, will in the summer join Aker Solutions as executive vice president for its renewables division, he announced via a Linkedin post.
Aker Solutions is pursuing a multi-pronged global energy transition strategy following its merger with fellow contracting giant Kvaerner last year, with growth ambitions in offshore wind, hydrogen and carbon capture.
