Siemens Energy is planning a green hydrogen demonstrator plant in Abu Dhabi with local clean energy player Masdar.
The two will evaluate the project as the first fruit of a new partnership between Siemens Energy and Mubadala, the Abu Dhabi investment group that also controls Masdar.
No further details were given about the demonstrator, except that it would be based at Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City green innovation hub and involve “a number of other key players in the technology, distribution, and end-use portions of the green hydrogen value chain”.
