Renewable Power Capital (RPC), a renewable energy investment platform backed by Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CCP Investments) has said it will buy a 171MW onshore wind portfolio in Finland from developer OX2.

The €245m ($300.7m) transaction is RPC’s first investment.

Two of the wind farms, Puutikankangas in North Ostrobothnia and Rustari in South Ostrobothnia, are ready-to-build today, the developer said.
