Dominion Energy has filed the Construction and Operations Plan (COP) for its US industry-leading 2.64GW Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project with federal regulators, keeping it on track for a 2024 construction start, according to the utility.

The COP, a critical step in the permitting process, includes information about the construction, operation, and conceptual decommissioning plans under a commercial wind lease on the outer continental shelf beyond state territorial limits.
