A plan by three of the world’s largest wind power operators to share data from their turbines stalled on the launchpad after the project was scrapped days after being announced.

Senior executives from Enel, Engie and Equinor were on Monday all quoted in a statement from Sweden-based peer-to-peer network O2O Wind announcing a “breakthrough data sharing programme” involving more than 10,000 turbines in a collaboration that would “put an end to the OEMs’ superior position with regards to global performance data”.
