GE Renewable Energy is set to supply 14MW versions of its Haliade-X turbine to the third phase of the world’s largest wind farm so far under construction, the 3.6GW Dogger Bank.

In an announcement marking another step up in power for its flagship turbine, GE said it has been named preferred supplier to Dogger Bank C, the final 1.2GW stage of the project that is a co-development between Norway’s Equinor and SSE of the UK, an agreement that also includes a five-year service agreement.
