Swedish infrastructure contractor Bygging-Uddemann has agreed a partnership deal with French offshore technology developer Ideol that will see the pair employ an automotive assembly-line method used in fabricating concrete caissons – commonly found in wave-breaks and bridges around the world – to help speed up the process of mass-producing floating platforms for deep water wind farms.
