Dominion Energy has tapped a Singapore-based shipbuilder with a major facility in Texas for the $500m first ‘all-American’ turbine installation vessel that will construct the largest US offshore wind farm planned so far.
Virginia utility Dominion confirmed that an order publicised by Keppel as a major win in the “offshore renewable energy industry” relates to the wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV) it’s leading a consortium of industry players to build.
