Germany’s government expects to reach its 65% renewable power target by 2030 mainly through a massive build-up of solar energy, with onshore wind additions only seen recovering in 2023, according to the draft of a reform of the country’s Renewable Energy Act (EEG) seen by Recharge.
Berlin expects PV installations of 4GW this year, and sees an expansion of between 4.6GW
