GE Renewable Energy made the first deliveries from its second wind turbine factory in China and pledged further expansion of the plant, as the US-owned group’s growth there continued despite rising tensions between the Chinese government and Donald Trump.
Based in Puyang city in Henan, the turbine plant began production in early August ten months after start of construction and despite the impact to Chinese industrial activity caused by the Covid pandemic.
