Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has won an order to supply 41 of its N149/4.0-4.5 turbines to one of Colombia’s largest wind projects so far.
The OEM didn’t disclose the client or the project, but local contractor CJR Renewables said it has won an order to build a 200MW project with 41 Nordex machines in a 4.8MW operating mode.
“Besides a fantastic and welcoming community, Colombia also offers great chances to develop wind energy projects, thanks to its climatic conditions and geographic positioning,” said Nuno Carvalho, Latin America regional manager at CJR Renewables.
