Norwegian hydropower giant Statkraft has entered a joint development agreement (JDA) with solar player UK Power Associates (UKPA) as it moves into Britain’s PV market to ‘complement’ its existing onshore wind pipeline in the country.

UKPA has three sites totaling some 300MW of PV capacity earmarked for potential development, according to Statkraft, that will ‘complement’ its 400MW in wind power projects in the UK.
