MHI Vestas Offshore Wind has confirmed a conditional agreement for the delivery of turbines for SSE Renewables’ 1.14GW Seagreen wind power project off the UK.
The news follows the announcement last autumn that the Japanese-Danish OEM would supply machines for the 454MW Seagreen 1 project won by the developer in the UK contract for difference (CfD) awards announced last month as well as the follow-on phase at the Firth of Forth project.
