Some of Denmark’s largest companies have joined forces to develop a green hydrogen and e-fuel production facility that would use 1.3GW of electrolysers powered by offshore wind to produce H2 for buses and trucks, renewable methanol for long-distance shipping and renewable jet fuel for aviation.

Project partners Orsted, SAS, AP Moller-Maersk, DFDS, DSV Panalpina and Copenhagen Airports would each benefit from the facility in the Greater Copenhagen area.
