The US wind and solar sectors have called on Washington to extend 2020 federal tax credit provisions to help them combat the economic fall-out caused by the global coronavirus pandemic.
“To avoid catastrophic job loss and keep our investments active, the solar and wind industries need to know that the policies previously provided by Congress remain available and usable despite delays in our schedules caused by the Covid-19 crisis,” CEOs Tom Kiernan of the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) and Abigail Ross Hopper of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) said in a letter
